Suspense in "The Monkey's Paw" - Using Text Evidence
I use this writing outline as students are beginning develop literary analysis skills. After we read, "The Monkey's Paw", students use text evidence to show the literary elements that the author uses to create suspense in the story. It's a basic outline for a basic paragraph on a great short story that students enjoy.
